The project
e-VET4AI, is an Erasmus+ KA2 project that lasts 24 months. The project’s partnership consists of seven (7) organisations coming from five (5) different countries (meet them here!). The aim of the project is to:
- support trainers in mechanical training courses in the development of new digital skills &
- create confidence in the use of new teaching methodologies.
How will the aim be accomplished?
In order to accomplish the aim of the project, partners are joining their forces by creating the following tools:
- e-VET Self-Assessment Tool (e-VET SAT) for Digital Capacity.
- Platform and App (e-VETrainers Platform and App).
- Τraining model (e-VET4AI TM).
Project’s Progress
The project began, its implementation, in November 2021 and is going to end in October 2023. Since its early beginning, until today, partners are meeting online at least one per month, in order to create the above digital tools.
In the very beginning of the project, p-consulting.gr, has started creating and completed before December 2021, the project’s website (available here), which is now available in 6 different languages (English, Greek, German, Spanish, Italian and French). For its dissemination, p-consulting.gr has also created the brochure and the poster of the project (available here). Furthermore, Facebook and LinkedIn pages, were created in order to spread its aim and the project’s results.
For the e-VET Self-Assessment Tool (e-VET SAT) for Digital Capacity, partners organised an online Working table with Anastasia Economou, project leader of the SELFIE for TEACHERS, to deepen the partnership’s knowledge, in the field of digital proficiency for trainers.
The partnership has already chosen on the selection and customization of the software supporting the Self-Assessment tool. Furthermore, partners have organised Focus Groups or interviews with teachers and VET trainers, so to investigate the impact of the Covid-19 on training contexts, such as digital gaps of the trainers and digital solutions adopted.
For the e-VETrainers Platform and App, partners carried out a benchmarking activity to identify the most suitable technology for their development. After the partnership identified and chose the most suitable technology, they are now continuing with the development of its content. The activity will be completed after the translation of the content in the partners languages, the following period.
In June 2022, project partners released the first Newsletter of the project. The newsletter was translated in the partners languages and the partnership shared it among their networks. The newsletter was shared to over 50 organisations of each partners’ network. In total over 350 organisations have received the newsletter.
In September 2022, partners are meeting for the first time face-to-face, in the Basque Country, in Spain. Partners met in Zarautz, in order to participate in their Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) on the 15th and 16th of September, hosted by HETEL.
During the meeting, partners set the tasks and the timetable for the successful implementation of the project. Partners discussed in detail about the work that has been done so far and discussed about the content of the platform. Before TPM ended, partners agreed in the tasks and deadlines in order p-consulting.gr to proceed with the creation of the platform. Last but not least, partners discussed their next steps, the project’s dissemination and set the date for their next online meeting in the middle of October.
Our project is rolling!
