In brief

The Project

ACT is a 28-month Erasmus+ project implemented by five partners from Greece, Denmark, Romania, and Italy. The project aims to contribute to addressing global challenges by promoting the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) among younger generations. It seeks to achieve this by creating educational material that can be used by students aged 14–18 and their teachers.

Objectives

What we aim to achieve

The main objectives of the project, as defined in the partnership structure.
Educating children aged 14–18 to work together on innovative solutions/practices/methods regarding how we can perform better in the 17 areas targeted by the 17 Goals
Educating and developing intercultural competencies among children aged 14–18 and their teachers
Enhancing and practising English language speaking and writing skills among children aged 14–18
Strengthening children’s understanding that “all of us” – worldwide – share responsibility for addressing the challenges reflected in the 17 Goals
Developing teachers’ competencies so that they can engage their students and learners in cross-border cooperation in the most pedagogically effective way
Drawing inspiration from existing projects related to the 17 Goals
