In brief

The Project

Slow Learning is a two-year European project implemented by five partners from Slovenia, Denmark, Spain, and Greece. The main objective of Slow Learning is to train ICT trainers working with people aged over 55. The main challenge faced by ICT trainers is that they do not have the necessary skills to train people over 55 in new technologies. Slow Learning will help them acquire the competencies and skills they need to effectively train older people in new technologies, using innovative methods and tools.

Objectives

What we aim to achieve

Improved knowledge and use of pedagogical tools and new technologies in the education of older people
Exchange of good practices among the partners
Establishing fundamental theoretical foundations for the implementation of ICT training programmes for older people
Recognising older people as a highly distinct group of adult learners whose education should be tailored to their specific needs
