Good Practices and new applications of Gamification

Labor market and working environments constantly develop and require a continually trained labor force, which can respond towards the new requirements. Adult education is an important and difficult project, which p-consulting.gr has been supporting and developing for about a decade, through the creation of digital material.

Good Practices in Europe

During the S4EG project “Skills For Employment: Acquiring employment skills in adult education through gamification”, p-consulting.gr, as the main responsible for the creation of the serious games of the project, in collaboration with 5 partners from other member states of European Union collected Good Practices from countries of the European Continent. Pre-existing Good Practices either offer valuable scientific knowledge about Gamification and its connection to education or relate to applications that facilitate and modernize the way students (adults and minors) and employees are educated.

The games that are being prepared!

To develop further gamification, the 6 partners prepare 6 games that aim to develop soft skills. Skills, which have been recognized as the most important by employers in the European Union and are:

  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Collaboration/Teamwork
  • Creative Thinking
  • Problem Solving
  • Self and Time Management
  • Communication

All serious games that will be produced, will be delivered along with instructions, explanations, pictures, videos and other interactive material, which will make the educational process enjoyable and interesting. Therefore, employees and non-employees will have the opportunity to develop “key” skills for the evolving work environment.
