Meeting for the European Project Growmat in Patras
Today, the first day of meetings for the European project Growmat, Erasmus+ KA2, began at the p-consulting offices in the city of Patras. The object of the project is to create new business opportunities in Accessible Tourism for seniors and others, particularly extending the out-of-season market.
The meeting will begin with an introductory presentation of the project by Mr. Panagiotis G. Anastassopoulos and Mrs. Charitini-Maria Skoulidi from p-consulting. After this short introduction, the presentations of the other project’s partners will follow.
The main part of the meeting will begin with the presentation of Mrs. Marijo Irastorza. by the CDEA college, who will analyze the main objectives of the meeting, the part’s that have been implemented so far and the creation of an e-learning platform.
Then will follow the presentations:
“Dissability and Tourism” by Professor Apostolos Vadarakis, University of Patras.
“The GROWMAT Project – Where are we?” by the project partners CDEA, Errotu, p-consulting, Bridgwater & Taunton College, Maribor, Haaga-Helia, and EfVET.
“Learning Resources” by Mrs. Marny Tompson and Age UK.
“Using Blackboard, enrolling students” by Mrs. Victoria Pyke, Bridgwater and Taunton College.
Next, an introductory discussion by Panagiotis G. Anastasopoulos – p-consulting and Mrs. Tracey Torble – T2 consulting will be held on connecting the learning tools with the participants of the project, as well as a presentation of the tools that will be used to create the e-learning platform.
The meeting will close with a review of the conclusions of the first day of the meeting and the preparation of the topics to be analyzed during the second day of the meetings.
