The LOST2 project partners recently convened for a significant meeting in Oslo on May 28th and 29th, 2024. Hosted by Euromasc, the Norwegian partner, this gathering was crucial for advancing the collaborative efforts of the project aimed at enhancing education and training system towards the Qualification for “Expert in the Research of Missing People & Minors” across Europe.
Day 1- 28th May 2024: Setting the Stage for Collaboration
The first day kicked off at 9:00 AM, managed by EUROMASC, followed by an introductory session. Each partner then presented their pilot action plans, offering a comprehensive overview of their intended contributions to the project. This session was pivotal in aligning the partners’ objectives and fostering a unified approach regarding the training course that is being developed.
Representatives from ΟMNIS and ARLAB took the stage to discuss the piloting questionnaire, setting the groundwork for evaluating the project’s impact. The morning concluded with a detailed presentation of various modules by all partners, showcasing innovative educational tools and resources developed for the project.
After a short lunch break, the module presentations continued, highlighting the diverse and rich content created by each partner, concerning the consolidation of the intended Qualification for becoming an Expert in the Research of Missing People & Minors. OMNIS introduced the transnational curriculum, a core component designed to ensure the project’s scalability and adaptability across different educational contexts. The day wrapped up with a focus on project administration, led by ARLAB, ensuring that all partners were aligned on administrative tasks and responsibilities. The productive day ended with fostering informal discussions and camaraderie.
Day 2 – 29th May 2024: Focused Efforts and Strategic Planning
The second day commenced with a meeting led by EUROMASC, setting a focused and strategic tone. p-consulting.gr presented the content template, a critical tool for ensuring consistent and high-quality project outputs to be transferred online. This was followed by a presentation of the platform, which will serve as a central hub for all project resources and interactions.
A collaborative session ensued where partners worked on the templates provided by p-consulting.gr, sharing lessons learned and identifying areas for improvement. This interactive workshop was instrumental in refining the project’s tools and methodologies.
The meeting concluded with a summary of the next steps and important deadlines, led by ARLAB. This ensured that all partners were clear on their tasks and timelines, paving the way for smooth and efficient progress in the coming months.
