p-consulting.gr recently participated in LOST2 joint staff training event on researching missing persons and children held in Perugia, Italy from December 4th-6th. The training was hosted by the Province of Perugia at the Palazzo della Provincia and included participants from partner organizations.
The first day of the event focused on introducing the overall learning outcomes expected from the training. Participants learned about the objectives of developing a standardized training curriculum for a new professional role – the “Expert in the Research of Missing People and Children.” The second day delved deeper into defining this curriculum based on aligning training modules and tools with priority knowledge and skills needed for the role. p-consulting.gr contributed its specialized expertise to help shape the curriculum contents.
The final day involved presenting the current proposal for structuring the training program and gaining alignment between all partner organizations on next steps for finalizing the curriculum design. Participants engaged in fruitful discussion and collaboration to outline plans for developing the training modules after the event concludes.
The joint staff training gave us the opportunity to help develop an important new training program for this growing area of need – locating missing persons as we expanded our knowledge and networks. As the training curriculum takes shape in the coming months, we look forward to potentially adopting the materials to enhance our staff skills and better serve the mission of the project in Greece.
