Foreign Language Opportunities for Children with Unique Skills
The FOCUS project aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and competences of foreign language teachers in effectively teaching children (6-12 years old) with learning difficulties. Through the introduction of innovative teaching techniques, methods, and tools, including Digital Game-Based Learning (DGBL), the project seeks to create inclusive learning environments and address the challenges faced by students with learning difficulties. By renewing educational practices, developing accessible learning resources, and promoting a comprehensive approach to language teaching and learning, the project endeavors to provide a more inclusive and effective learning experience for all students.
The aim of the FOCUS project is to improve the knowledge, skills, and competences of foreign language teachers in teaching children (6-12 years old) with learning difficulties, by using Digital Game-Based Learning methods. Additionally, the project aims to strengthen the soft and transversal skills of teachers regarding the inclusion of learners with learning difficulties.
