MICROIDEA

MICRO-credentials: Identifying, Developing, testing, and assessing innovative approaches.

MICROIDEA is a project funded by the Erasmus+ program, lasting 36 months, implemented by 12 organizations from Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Polland, and Belgium.

It focuses on introducing a holistic methodology of microcredential which will be mainstreamed in European level and further.

aim
  • Development of a microcredential system liked to ISO/IEC17024.
  • Development of a methodology to balance between National and International validation/certification system.
  • Designing and implementing an online tool to underpin needs analysis open to all.
  • Implementing a microcredentail system of an occupation of the Tourism sector.
beneficiaries
  • In National level: job seekers, VET/Youth Authorities/policymakers/Ministries/ Chambers etc. Organizations for Certification of Qualifications & Vocational Guidance, Youth Bodies, Social Partners, civil society organizations and movements.
  • In European level: The European Agencies (CEDEFOP, EACEA, EFT and etc.), VET providers (EVBB, EURASHE, EVTA, Chain 5, EARLALL, LLL Platform, EAEA and others) and the European Commission officers and representatives of the European Commission.
  • Directly interested: practitioners/professionals/experts in the field/ employees and employers/ unemployed/ potential beneficiaries, who need upskilling-reskilling considered as end users.
  • Population in general: with interest in upskilling-reskilling issues.
