SCORE
“Developing the Skills of COmmunity and health workers working with REfugees”
SCORE is a three-year European project, which is implemented by seven partners, from Greece, Italy, Denmark and Spain. The project is an innovative intervention in the framework of education of professionals in working with refugees and immigrants. Main objective of the project is the development of good practices in care for refugees and asylum seekers in areas except the first entrance and hot spot areas. The project will contribute at informing and educating the local societies on the refugee humanitarian problem.
objectives
- To provide a new type of education to health professionals and community workers, in the field of effective contact with refugees, and to any other volunteers
- To bring to the participants a greater understanding and responsiveness for the vulnerable groups, such as refugees
- To encourage these professionals to have a more active participation in society for refugees
- To promote to the participants a more positive attitude towards the EU values
- To raise awareness in local communities about refugees
