On 25 November 2025, p-consulting.gr successfully organised and delivered an interactive workshop titled “Regenerative Tourism Experiences – Exploring the AGORA Project” at SAEK DELTA 360° in Patras. The workshop was implemented within the framework of the European project AGORA (Erasmus+ KA2), which promotes regenerative tourism and empowers local communities through participatory and sustainable practices.
The event began with a brief icebreaker activity, during which participants shared what makes a place special for them — an exercise that helped connect the idea of local identity with the role of tourism in preserving and enhancing community assets. A short presentation of the AGORA project followed, introducing its aims and main results, such as the Interactive Map, the Online Course, and the Sustainable Tourism Guide.
The students then worked in groups and explored the AGORA Lab, testing tools and examples from across Europe. Each group selected an idea or practice that inspired them and presented it to the plenary. This collaborative process highlighted the students’ strong interest in modern, sustainable approaches to tourism.
The workshop culminated in a creative activity, where groups worked together to design a concise regenerative tourism experience aimed at benefiting the community or the environment. Their ideas were presented in a short interactive session, followed by a vote for the most complete proposal. The level of engagement and interest was particularly high.
The event concluded with an open discussion and final feedback, emphasising the importance of regenerative tourism for future tourism professionals.
We would like to warmly thank SAEK DELTA 360° for hosting the workshop, as well as all tourism department students for their active participation and enthusiasm. Their contribution made the session dynamic, inspiring, and highly creative.
Through the AGORA project, p-consulting.gr continues to connect young people, educators, and professionals, fostering collaboration and promoting the development of regenerative tourism at both local and European level.
