There are several promotion\u00a0methods, but very\u00a0often, the cost is unsustainable for a <strong>startup<\/strong> or\u00a0a <strong>small business<\/strong>. The cost of an advertising campaign, for example through TV ads, is prohibitive for companies that take their first business steps or those with limited funds.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Up to recently, this would be a big problem for many companies. However, now the entrepreneurs have a great weapon upon\u00a0their hands, which is nothing more than the\u00a0<strong>social media<\/strong>. A relatively recent survey by <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/eurostat\/statistics-explained\/index.php?title=Special:Search\/Information_society_statistics_-_households_and_individuals\/el\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">eurostat<\/a>, gives important information about the use of internet.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Can social networks help businesses to reach <strong>costumers<\/strong> who interest them (target group) directly and with no or low cost through <strong>social media<\/strong>?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The positive response will not be a surprise, since the significance of social media in <strong>promotion<\/strong> of the newly created and small businesses is already\u00a0a fact. Social media have evolved from websites to\u00a0spend your spare time in important allies of <strong>entrepreneurship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A big question is, how can I successfully <strong>promote<\/strong> my business and achieve the <strong>commitment<\/strong> of the target group of my\u00a0<strong>interest<\/strong>, through social networks?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h4><strong>Selection of the appropriate platform.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Each social media platform has a <strong>different use<\/strong> and attracts <strong>different audience<\/strong>. For example, <strong>Facebook<\/strong> is used more for communication between friends and family, <strong>Instagram<\/strong> for photo publishing, <strong>Twitter<\/strong> to publish information, mostly content, and <strong>LinkedIn<\/strong> and <strong>Google+<\/strong> for professional use. For this reason, the choice should be made with caution and the approach must be different.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Selection of the appropriate target group.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In selecting the appropriate platform for any business, significant\u00a0role plays the clarifying of the target group that interest us most. When we decide our <strong>target group<\/strong>, it becomes clearer which social media\u00a0platform fits us most.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Commitment and content.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once a company decides to start the\u00a0promotion\u00a0through <strong>social media<\/strong>, there should be <strong>commitment<\/strong>\u00a0to its existing and potential customers. The flow of content should be regular and the content to be\u00a0<strong>substantial<\/strong> and <strong>interesting<\/strong>. According to recent statistics, the content the consumers\u00a0like most, are photos and videos.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Frequency of posts.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When we say, the flow of content to be regular, this does not mean it should be done through load\u00a0of posts. The exaggeration, in this case, has the opposite effect. It\u00a0is advisable to have a <strong>balance<\/strong> in content but also in the <strong>frequency<\/strong> of postings.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Social profile.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All companies that begin or have already started their business course, is important to have a <strong>social profile<\/strong>. And as regards the company&#8217;s presence in social media, the public stands companies that are not only interested in selling their products, but also\u00a0are interested in the well being of the society.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The fact is, that social media marketing is a very useful tool for businesses, that will last long. However, the use of social media should be specific and diverse depending on the nature of the enterprise. For an effective and successful application, every business should discover what fits best.
