What is Cobotics\u00a0and what changes it will bring to the business world?<\/h3>\n

Technology is evolving rapidly and the changes it brings to both industry<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and entrepreneurship<\/strong> as well as to our everyday life<\/strong> are crucial to the evolution and future of humanity.<\/p>\n

These changes, of course, will not leave unchanged the labor sector<\/strong> and especially the part of the production<\/strong> and processing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Maybe the idea of working and having robots as assistants sounds distant, but in industry, it is a reality. With Cobotics<\/strong> people are already working with robots<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But what do we mean by the term Cobotics<\/strong>?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The term derives from the words “cooperation<\/strong>” and “robotics<\/strong>“, and it refers to the cooperation between a person<\/strong> and a robot<\/strong>. The goal of this collaboration is to automate a wide range of tasks and perform the work with close cooperation between humans and machines.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A cobot<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>or co-robot<\/strong> (from collaborative robot) is a robot intended to physically interact with humans in a shared workspace<\/strong>. This is in contrast with other robots, designed to operate autonomously<\/strong> or with limited guidance<\/strong>, which is what most industrial robots were up until the decade of the 2010s.<\/p>\n

Tasks that are arduous<\/strong>, difficult<\/strong> or to which people add little value<\/strong> are transferred to machines. Cobots assist operators by augmenting their capabilities in terms of effort, allowing them to manipulate parts that are hot<\/strong>, heavy<\/strong>, bulky<\/strong>, or too small<\/strong> for precision handling.\u00a0They give the ability to handle with a fairly high percentage of accuracy.<\/p>\n

With this direct operator-machine contact, people has the ability to decide whether to interact with the machine or not. Operators remain indispensable for their skills<\/strong> and decision ability<\/strong>,undertaking more complex processes.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Cobotics are not by accident in revolutionary technologies (3D Printing<\/strong>, Internet of Things<\/strong> IoT, Nanotechnology<\/strong>, Cloud Computing<\/strong>, Augmented Reality<\/strong>) that will radically change industrial production.<\/p>\n

Microsoft \u00a9<\/strong> presented two months ago a small video describing the benefits of cobotics<\/strong>:<\/h4>\n
