The unemployment rate came to 26.6% in the total of the country in the 1st quarter of 2015, noting a small rise in relation to the 4th quarter of 2014 which was 26.1%, according to ELSTAT data. Related to the 1st quarter of 2014, the unemployment rate was reduced by 1.2 percentage points.<\/p>\n

The unemployment in young people, although in the 1st quarter of 2015 was marginally reduced, it remains standstill in alarming high levels. Particularly, the unemployment rate came up to 44% in age group of 15-29, 25.69% in the age group of 30-44 and 20.02% in the age group of 45-65.
