{"id":22188,"date":"2019-04-05T15:50:56","date_gmt":"2019-04-05T12:50:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.p-consulting.gr\/the-future-of-vet-in-greece\/"},"modified":"2021-01-08T17:31:30","modified_gmt":"2021-01-08T15:31:30","slug":"the-future-of-vet-in-greece","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.p-consulting.gr\/en\/the-future-of-vet-in-greece\/","title":{"rendered":"The Future of VET in Greece"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"background-color: #ffffff; color: #115dc5;\">Vocational Education and Training &#8211; Future is here!<\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When we attemt to discuss issues such as <strong>Education<\/strong>, <strong>Vocational Training<\/strong> and <strong>Career Opportunities<\/strong>, we usually think about the future.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">But developments are rapid, and they are already happening in <strong>Europe<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In <strong>Greece<\/strong> baby steps are been done, maybe steady ones, but in Europe we have an revolution!<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\">The policies and objectives of the European Union are based on key pillars such as:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Learning based on work in all its forms.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring quality in the labor market.<\/li>\n<li>Strengthening key competences and skills.<\/li>\n<li>Professional development of teachers and trainers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>These goals, however, do not only have one way direction!<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">They will try to establish <strong>excellence<\/strong> through social inclusion. The support for acquiring <strong>professional skills<\/strong> will now be provided with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.p-consulting.gr\/en\/web-creations\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">technological and innovative tools<\/a> in order to achieve the best possible results. This, of course, requires cooperation at all levels within and outside <strong>Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">But what does it mean in practice to apply <strong>innovation<\/strong> to <strong>excellence<\/strong>;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Based on the <strong>ReferNet<\/strong> project <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cedefop.europa.eu\/el\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cedefop<\/a>, has identified <strong>key innovation initiatives<\/strong> and techniques that have been proposed in various European countries. Some European Members have launched successful initiatives for vocational training and excellence by including <strong>education<\/strong> as part of their innovation strategies.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main findings of the project are:<\/span><\/h2>\n<div class=\"list-container selector\">\n<div class=\"content-wrap\">\n<ul>\n<li class=\"dfd-content-title-small\">Training more flexible and autonomous<\/li>\n<li class=\"dfd-content-title-small\">Education more attractive<\/li>\n<li class=\"dfd-content-title-small\">Technological change is imperative<\/li>\n<li class=\"dfd-content-title-small\">Dynamic change in the labor market<\/li>\n<li class=\"dfd-content-title-small\">Imperative for globalization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In order to achieve these changes, which are so important for the future of Greece, we need to give significant attention to both\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.p-consulting.gr\/en\/training\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">training<\/a> of the <strong>trainers<\/strong> and <strong>trainees<\/strong>, and also to the <strong>educational tools<\/strong> themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Collaboration between different groups (teachers, employers, consultants, etc.) should stimulate the development of a healthy ecosystem. There may be small steps, especially in countries with similar dynamics as Greece, but they are the basis for the future.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Vocational Education and Training &#8211; Future is here!
