The 2nd<\/sup> meeting of the AIDA \u201c<\/strong>Active <\/strong>Aging <\/strong>for <\/strong>Elderly <\/strong>with ID\u201d (<\/strong>Erasmus+ <\/strong>KA2)<\/strong>, project, in which p-consulting.gr<\/a> as a partner, took place online on Thursday 17 December 2020.<\/p>\n

Organizing the online research<\/h2>\n

\"\"During the meeting, the first actions for the implementation of the project were discussed in detail. Emphasis was placed on online research to be launched in January 2021 and will be conducted in Greece, Spain, Denmark and the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n

The research will concern the recording of the needs of elderly people with intellectual disabilities and their families, in terms of the provision of care (at biological \u2013 psychological \u2013 social level), with a view to improving their quality of life.
\nThe partners analyzed the survey questionnaire and set out the steps for its implementation.<\/p>\n

After the research what?<\/h2>\n

The next objective of the project is to enhance the knowledge and skills of specialists\/ professionals involved in the care of elderly people with intellectual disabilities, so that they can provide a high level of care.<\/p>\n

To this end, a specialized training program will be developed, which is expected to be ready in the second half of 2021.<\/p>\n
