EU Green Week<\/h3>\n

EU Green Week is the annual opportunity to debate, become familiar with, or even celebrate EU environment policy. It\u2019s an opportunity to celebrate the progress made, and to encourage individuals, communities, and organisations to take stronger action in future \u2013 to protect, preserve and restore our environment, for now and for future generations, while constantly promoting sustainable development.<\/p>\n

This year, the conference was held on 06.06.2023 \u2013 07.06.2023, in Brussels and consisted by Policy debates on “Delivering a Net-Zero World” theme and expert workshops organised by the European Commission, Directorate-General for Environment, with invited speakers from the world of politics, business, NGOs, and academia.<\/p>\n

The Conference was held at the European Commission where more than 250 participants had the opportunity to address relevant issues such as biodiversity, circular economy and zero pollution.<\/p>\n

On the first day the sessions focused on the latest policy developments in the areas of biodiversity, circular economy and zero pollution. Sessions on the second day, contained more technical or specialised topics, for expert audiences.<\/p>\n

ACT! and EU Green Week.<\/h3>\n

p-consulting.gr<\/a>, as a member of EfVET<\/a> had the opportunity to promote the ACT! project<\/a> in which it is a partner, in the EU Green Week. EfVET\u2019s (European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training), mission is to enhance VET provision across all members through an active networking of all the key actors. To create the capacity to influence policy at European and National level. As a member of EfVET, p-consulting.gr had the opportunity to present the project through its dissemination material, to which all participants had access throughout the conference, during the EU Green Week.<\/p>\n

ACT! project<\/h3>\n

During the implementation of the ACT! project the necessary tools and methods will be developed to enable children and teachers from different countries and different educational and cultural environments to work together (co-creative) on global issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/p>\n
