The e-VET4AI project, funded under Erasmus+, recently wrapped up its 2-year initiative to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into vocational education programs. The consortium of partners from Germany, Italy, Greece, Spain and Belgium held closing meetings and a dissemination-focused final conference in Milan, Italy on November 23-24, 2023.<\/p>\n

The final transnational project meeting took place over two days hosted by ECOLE at their Cinisello Balsamo facilities. Partners came together to report on key results from content creation and pilot activities over the lifetime of e-VET4AI. Topics spanned project updates across three intellectual outputs, sustainability planning, dissemination, and administrative closure.<\/p>\n

On Day 1, each partner outlined developments and achievements linked to the curricula, course modules, and other project outputs they spearheaded. This included AI-focused vocational education materials tailored to the manufacturing sector. In the afternoon, the group visited local tech leader Zucchetti to learn firsthand how they apply AI.<\/p>\n

The second day transitioned focus toward dissemination, legacy planning, and wrap-up. Sessions addressed integrating project outputs into existing education and training initiatives beyond the funding period. Reviews of quality implementation and budget spending also took place alongside discussions on potential future collaborations.<\/p>\n

Moreover, on November 23rd, ECOLE hosted the e-VET4AI Final Conference, bringing together the consortium and outside stakeholders from vocational education and industry. The half-day event allowed partners to showcase outputs to key training providers and manufacturers through presentations and demos. Attendees included the CTO of Moxoff, an AI firm applying solutions on the factory floor.<\/p>\n

The agenda also incorporated roundtable testimonials about on-the-ground impact as well as best practice exchanges. Discussions served to spur adoption of e-VET4AI\u2019s vocational AI training content while building anticipation for the future of AI in advanced manufacturing education. In total, the TPM and conference marked a dissemination pinnacle and point of reflection on project payoffs as e-VET4AI came to a close.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
