In the framework of the HVET project of an Erasmus+ project we had the opportunity to create an educational game for VET students. The Hybrid Mystery is an innovative hybrid educational game designed to re-engage Vocational Education and Training (VET) students by blending real-world and digital learning experiences. Developed to tackle issues such as student disengagement, social isolation, and learning loss, the game fosters collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking.<\/p>\n
Set in a futuristic hybrid planet, the game challenges learners to explore and colonize this new world through interactive tasks that range from outdoor activities to virtual problem-solving and teamwork-based assignments. Students\u2019 progress through different levels of engagement\u2014from individual tasks to international collaboration, making learning both immersive and interactive.<\/p>\n
Teachers play a key role in managing the game, customizing tasks, and monitoring student progress. The platform offers pre-defined and customizable tasks that are automatically or manually assessed, ensuring alignment with educational goals.<\/p>\n
By combining technology, storytelling, and experiential learning, the Hybrid Mystery transforms VET education into an engaging and motivating journey, helping students develop essential life and career skills.<\/p>\n
Piloting of the game is taking place in all project countries and will be released for the public after the end of February.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
