On\u00a0<\/span>29 April 2026<\/span><\/b>, the\u00a0<\/span>COOPSKILLS<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u00a0Launch Event<\/span><\/b>, titled\u00a0<\/span>\u201cFrom Learning Cities to Learning Companies,\u201d<\/span><\/i>\u00a0will take place\u00a0<\/span>online from 10:00 to 12:00 CET<\/span><\/b>, bringing together stakeholders from across Europe to discuss the future of reskilling and lifelong learning. The event will introduce the vision and early progress of the Erasmus+ project COOPSKILLS, which aims to strengthen local skills ecosystems in response to the green and digital transition.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

COOPSKILLS promotes new collaborative models that connect municipalities, education providers, chambers of commerce, and businesses. Through the development of\u00a0<\/span>Learning Companies<\/span><\/b>\u00a0and the establishment of locally coordinated\u00a0<\/span>Reskilling Labs<\/span><\/b>, the project\u00a0seeks\u00a0to embed lifelong learning into everyday working life and support workers, unemployed adults, and vulnerable groups in\u00a0acquiring\u00a0future-oriented skills.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the event, participants will learn about the project\u2019s\u00a0initial\u00a0research findings and the practical framework that will guide the implementation of these initiatives. The agenda also includes a session on the\u00a0<\/span>UNESCO Learning Cities<\/span><\/b>\u00a0approach, as well as a roundtable discussion exploring how local ecosystems can respond to skills shortages and support continuous workforce development.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Participation in the event is\u00a0<\/span>free of charge<\/span><\/b>, but\u00a0<\/span>registration is\u00a0required<\/span><\/b>\u00a0in order to\u00a0receive the access link. The session will conclude with an open discussion where participants will have the opportunity to share questions and reflections with the speakers and\u00a0panellists.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
