The asynchronous seminar of the INTERACTION project, titled “Sustainable Art in Action: Creativity, Responsibility, and Innovation for a Greener Future”, offers a comprehensive educational experience aimed at artists and creative professionals. The seminar is divided into six modules covering critical issues around sustainability in art and creation, providing valuable knowledge and tools for integrating ecological practices into the artistic process.
Each module includes an introductory video that presents the topic in an understandable and engaging way, along with 4-5 subtopics developed in detail. The material allows participants to approach the content at their own pace, with the flexibility to read and study the modules in any order they wish, thus offering autonomy in learning.
At the end of each module, there is a quiz designed to assess understanding of the key points and help participants deepen their knowledge. To receive a certificate of completion, participants must correctly answer at least 70% of the questions across all quizzes. Additionally, extra learning material is provided at the end of each module, offering resources and references for those who want to explore the topics further.
The six modules cover fundamental aspects of sustainable art. The first module introduces participants to the basic concepts and challenges of sustainable art, while the second focuses on materials and techniques that contribute to more ecological and environmentally friendly creative practices. The third module develops the essential skills needed to become a sustainable artist, emphasizing personal and professional abilities. The fourth module turns to the future of eco-friendly design and the merging of art with technology, while the fifth examines the role of art in communities and its social impact. Finally, the sixth module presents the artist as an innovator who designs the future through responsible and pioneering practices.
In this way, the seminar offers comprehensive education that combines theory with practice and encourages creative responsibility, laying the foundation for a greener and more sustainable future in art.
