- Remote work is applied following consultation and a written agreement between the employee and the company.
- Eligibility for remote work applies to employees whose roles can be performed remotely. Positions that, by nature, require physical presence are excluded.
- The duration and frequency of remote work are determined by the company, depending on business needs.
- p-consulting.gr provides the necessary equipment and technical support for remote work. Damages or losses to personal equipment are not covered by the company.
Employee Obligations
Employees working remotely must:
- Adhere to the agreed working hours.
- Ensure seamless communication with colleagues and supervisors.
- Use company-provided equipment exclusively for professional purposes.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of company and client data.
- Maintain a suitable home or agreed remote workspace, prioritizing safety and ergonomics.
- Immediately report any issue affecting the smooth provision of remote work.
Company Obligations
p-consulting.gr is committed to:
- Providing the necessary equipment and technical support to ensure uninterrupted work.
- Ensuring the protection of personal data through appropriate systems and procedures.
- Offering equal access to information, training, and career development opportunities to all employees.
- Supporting the mental and physical well-being of employees working remotely.
Data Security and Confidentiality
Data protection is a critical obligation for all. Specifically:
- Access to company systems must only be made through a secure, encrypted VPN connection.
- The use of personal email accounts or messaging applications for work purposes is prohibited.
- Equipment must have up-to-date antivirus software, firewall, and operating system.
- Company files must only be stored on official company servers/systems. The use of personal cloud services is prohibited.
- Only platforms with strong security standards (end-to-end encryption) may be used for videoconferencing.
- Any data breach or suspected incident must be reported to the company immediately.
Health and Safety
- Employees must organize their remote workspace in compliance with basic health and safety standards.
- The company may provide guidance or support for the ergonomic arrangement of the workspace.
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Monitoring of remote work is limited to evaluating performance and adherence to agreed working hours.
- Monitoring that infringes on employees’ privacy is not permitted.
- Performance is assessed based on objective and measurable criteria.
Employee Commitment
Each employee participating in remote work:
- Signs acknowledgment of having read and understood the Policy.
- Commits to comply with all obligations arising from it.
- Remains subject to the same professional conduct standards as when working on company premises.
Issue Resolution Procedure
- Any employee may submit a request or complaint regarding remote work.
- The company is committed to investigating and responding transparently and within a reasonable timeframe.
p-consulting.gr reserves the right to modify or revoke remote work arrangements at any time, depending on business needs. Such modification shall not be considered a detrimental change to the terms of employment.
This Policy is reviewed annually or as required by internal or external demands.
