We are delighted to present the first newsletter of the COOPSKILLS project, which marks the official launch of our communication with the wider public and all stakeholders. This issue offers a comprehensive overview of the project, its objectives, the first actions already undertaken, as well as the upcoming steps and deliverables.
In its opening pages, the newsletter introduces the vision of COOPSKILLS, highlighting the importance of transforming businesses into “Learning Companies” and establishing Reskilling Labs at the municipal level, as part of the broader strategy for the green and digital transition. The project aims to provide practical tools to support local communities and embed lifelong learning into the professional landscape.
The newsletter also features a profile of the consortium (12 partner organisations from Greece, Cyprus, Poland, Lithuania, and Spain) who have joined forces to ensure the project’s success. Each partner brings unique expertise, contributing to a dynamic and diverse collaboration.
Moreover, the newsletter presents the content and agenda of the project’s first transnational meeting, which took place in Thermi, Greece, on June 3–4, 2025. Partners gathered at the NOESIS Science Center and Technology Museum, where they discussed the initial work packages in detail, laid the groundwork for the Reskilling Labs, and strengthened the collaborative spirit of the consortium.
Finally, the newsletter outlines the next steps and deliverables of the project, such as the creation of the Learning Companies Framework and the development of the Reskilling Lab Handbook, announcing that the first results will be shared soon.
Stay tuned for the next developments of COOPSKILLS!
