The Final Meeting of the GUIDE Project in Ljubljana: A Journey Concluding Dynamically!

On 17 and 18 September 2025, Ljubljana hosted the final transnational meeting of the GUIDE – Upgrading the skills of professionals for gender-sensitive career guidance project. At the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, the partners gathered to review three years of collaboration and to set the final steps towards the project’s completion.

The first day opened with a presentation of the project’s progress, followed by a focus on the deliverables of the work packages. The partners discussed the digital tools developed—applications for identifying stereotypes and decision-making strategies—which provide innovative solutions for counsellors, career guidance professionals, and educators.

Special emphasis was given to the online training programme. The latest improvements to the platform were presented, along with the first results of the piloting phase, which will be completed at the end of September and continues to gather valuable feedback from professionals across Europe. Discussions focused on the next steps to ensure the material will be accessible to a wider audience, with practical value for the daily work of counsellors and trainers.

The conversation then moved to the Toolkit for gender-sensitive career guidance. The final version was presented, both in print and digital form, and partners exchanged comments on translations and the tool’s use at the national level.

The day concluded with the dissemination and communication activities. Partners shared the results of the open events, the actions carried out through EPALE and EfVET, and the progress towards the final dissemination report.

On the second day, discussions focused on project management: evaluation, risk management, and the final steps until closure. The meeting ended with enthusiasm and a strong sense of collective achievement.

The GUIDE project concludes a cycle of collaboration, leaving behind substantial tools and practices that contribute to a fairer and more inclusive approach to career guidance in Europe.
