“10 minutes that matter”
In the following podcast, called “10 minutes that matter”, you will learn about the performance of the 13 Regions of Greece, regarding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are 17 goals defined by the United Nations to tackle the world’s biggest problems by 2030. p-consulting.gr participates in the partnership of ACT project.
ACT project focuses οn developing the needed tools and methods so as children and teachers from different countries and educational and cultural environments to work together (co-creative) on global topics related to the Sustainable Development Goals.
What is the case in Greece in every Region regarding the SDGs?
SDSN Greece, Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), “Athena” Research & Innovation Information Technologies, “Regional Policy Monitor” (RPM) , with the support of Data Consultants, proceeded with the first recording of progress towards achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at regional level in Greece.
Regional Policy Monitor (RPM) released the research of Phoebe Koundouri (head of the research group at AUEB) and her team, where the progress towards achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the regional level in Greece, was measured.
Prof. Phoebe Koundouri, interviewed by the General Manager of the “Regional Policy Monitor” Mr. Yianni Papageorgiou and explains:
- What the SDGs depict.
- Why it is important to measure the SDGs.
- How widespread the Goals themselves are at regional and local level.
- Whether the Goals are achievable by 2030.
