Research for caregivers of people living with dementia

p-consulting.gr and Koi.S.P.E. “Faros” are conducting a research aiming to identify the educational needs of professional and non-professional (family members/friends/volunteers) caregivers of people living with dementia.

This research is also focusing on trainers of health professionals, in order to collect information about their experience on online training of carers of people living with dementia.

For this purpose, 3 questionnaires have been created. Each questionnaire addresses to a different target-group:

  • Professional caregivers of people living with dementia, for example nurses, social workers, doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, etc.
  • Non-Professional caregivers of people living with dementia, for example family members, friends, volunteers, etc.
  • Trainers of health professionals, in on-line training programs, focusing to caregivers of people living with dementia.

Questionnaires are on-line and can be filled in until Friday, 24.01.2020. The submitted information, will be used only in the report of the research, respecting the requirements of G.D.P.R.

The above research is for the purposes of European Erasmus+ program D-CARE, which is being implemented in Greece by p-consulting.gr and Koi.S.P.E. «Faros». The aim of the project is to train caregivers of people living with dementia (both professional and non-professional), so that they can provide quality care to those who need it.

 

Project partners are from Greece, Italy, Spain, UK, Denmark and Belgium.
