The ACT Project workshops are coming up!

p-consulting.gr together with the other partners of the ACT! project are entering the final phase of conducting a series of online workshops for cross-border cooperation on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), among students aged 14-18 years old.

The progress of the project results to date!

After the three-day Short-time staff training in Aarhus, Denmark, in October 2023, the ACT! project partnership implemented from mid-December 2023 until mid-January 2024 the pilot phase of the Self-Reflection Tool and the Online Training Program for teachers in cross-border cooperation for the development of the SDGs in schools, addressed to teachers of students aged 14-18 years. The activity was a crucial part of the project as the feedback from teachers marked the successful and qualitative creation of the above tools.

The pilot phase of the project results was carried out in Greece, Denmark, Romania and Italy, with more than 120 teachers. The feedback received by the partnership was valuable and the comments were excellent!

It is important to mention that the project partners did not stop there! They created an “Inspiration Library” as a database to inspire teachers even more in relation to SDGs.

The workshops

p-consulting.gr will proceed until mid-February 2024, to perfect the two tools and the final touches of the e-community platform, which will be the communication channel for the cross-border cooperation of students aged 14-18 years old.

At the end of February 2024, the first workshop will be held with 14–18-year-old students who will participate in the e-community cross-border cooperation workshops for SDGs. The students, coming from Greece, Denmark, Romania, and Italy, will be introduced to the ACT project, after the presentations of the partners, will learn more about the SDGs and will choose one of them that they would like to engage with and present per country.

The second workshop will take place in March 2024, where the students will present part of their work and the final result will be presented at the 3rd and final workshop in April.

We’re delighted to have teachers and students as part of our community of change-makers, all dedicated to advancing sustainable development across European borders.
