The LOST2 project partners gathered on 3 and 4 October 2024, in Athens. This meeting, which was organised and hosted by the Smile of the Child, one of the two Greek partners, was of crucial importance. The training material of the project’s online training platform for the “Expert in the research of missing people & minors” was finalised on a pan-European level.
The meeting commenced with a presentation of the Andreas Giannopoulos Operations Centre by Smile of the Child. This was followed by a concise briefing on the pilot training actions that were conducted in Italy, Portugal, and Greece. These pilot actions, which were evaluated by ARLAB partner, constituted the foundation for the development of the project’s final training material.
At the meeting, p-consulting.gr presented the draft version of the LOST2 online educational platform, providing a complete overview of the digital educational modules included. The partners made suggestions to improve the content, and next steps were agreed upon: the platform will be finished and tested in all partner countries.
The meeting continued with a discussion on the management activities of the project implementation, as well as the evaluation and management of the communication and dissemination of the project results to stakeholders and the general public. Finally, emphasis was placed on the timing of the next steps and the deadlines for testing the platform.
The meeting concluded on the second day, during which the partners focused on finalizing the online training program, with the aim of improving and planning the next activities for its successful completion.
