The beginning
ProLearn started its history on 30 & 31 October 2019. P-consulting.gr along with 5 more organisations from 5 different EU countries met in the Polish city of Lublin to contribute to the development of cognitive and learning skills of children aged 6 to 14 years old. After setting the basis, the project timetable and short-term objectives, the project was ready to start.
The first major milestone
In the second half of 2020, the first major deliverable, the e-tool for diagnosing the cognitive processes and learning styles of children aged 6 to 10 years, was completed. This tool aims to identify how each child (individually) learns better, of higher quality and easier.
Thus, on November 5, 2020, the partners met online to coordinate its pilot implementation, which took place in the summer of 2021.
The second major milestone
In the autumn of 2021, the second major deliverable, the e-tool for the diagnosis of cognitive processes and learning styles of children aged 11-14 years, was completed. This tool has the same goal as the previous one, except that it is designed for adolescents aged 11 to 14 years old. The pilot implementation of the tool has started in schools in partner countries and is still ongoing.
These 2 e-tools enable teachers and parents to better understand how a child learns without the involvement of an expert.
Where it is today
The partners met in Rome in the last week of October 2021 to be trained on the tools and methodologies of the project that had been completed by then. On the sidelines of the training, they coordinated the development and piloting of the next 2 deliverables which are a digital toolkit for teachers and one for students.
