Ecological sustainability

Green management within enterprises and ecological sustainability. The contribution of the Think Twice Project!

Ecological sustainability and the concept of the environment have gained law enforcement since 1987 in the European Union. In 1992 and with «Agenda 21» at the United Nations Conference in Rio, it was decided by all countries that their aim is sustainability.

Ecological sustainability 1

Today green development has invaded people’s lives in the economic, environmental, social and organizational fields. More and more companies, enterprises and organizations have as their main concern ecological sustainability and have fully introduced the recycling part.

The use of recycled and recyclable products at all stages of a company is well established.

The training of environmental workers has begun to be strengthened, but it remains a part that needs to be enriched with know-how even more.

What is Think Twice! project and how does it help?

The strengthening of this knowledge therefore results from the Project “Think Twice! – Ecological sustainability in project management”.

Οικολογική Βιωσιμότητα 1

This is an Erasmus+ project with partners from Germany, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Slovenia.

It is addressed to experienced and new project managers, who are engaged or wish to participate in European funded projects or in the field of project management, generally.

The aim is to create a Curated Treasury containing good practices for ecologically sustainable project management, the pros and cons of these practices and will be a tool for project managers to monitor the good practices they have recorded themselves. A Stress Test of current practice will also be created to assess the sustainability of projects through game – based learning.

p-consulting.gr representing Greece contributes to the implementation of the project by supporting the ecological sustainability and green development of the projects in general.
