Short-term Joint Training Event for the iLEARN4Health project

The partners of the i-Learn4Health project convened in Romania from April 8-10 at the headquarters of FSLI for a Short-Term Joint Training Event. This event brought together teachers, school principals, and experts from all participating organizations.

Purpose

The primary aim of the training was to introduce primary school educators, school administrators, and health education specialists to the project’s innovative tools, which include digital educational games and an online training program. We focused on equipping these key stakeholders with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively utilize and adapt these tools in their educational environments.

Objectives

The specific objectives of the training event were:

  1. Empowerment: Strengthen participants with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and motivation needed to use and adapt the project tools.
  2. Skill Enhancement: Improve the educational skills of the participants.
  3. Preparing piloting phase: Prepare participants for the piloting phase of the project tools.
  4. Knowledge Multiplication: Enable participants to act as multipliers of the knowledge gained, ensuring a long-term impact.
  5. Evaluation: Assess the preliminary version of the online training program and the digital educational games before national piloting.

  • Participants engaged in workshops where we analyzed the educational games and the training program.
  • An open discussion followed, providing valuable feedback and identifying minor adjustments needed for improvement.

Day 3: School Visit

 Outcomes

This meeting marked a significant milestone for the i-Learn4Health project. Valuable data was collected, highlighting small changes needed to enhance the online training program and digital educational games. This feedback is crucial as the project aims to finalize these tools by July 2024.

The event successfully fostered a collaborative environment, ensuring that all participants are well-prepared for the next stages of the project and capable of disseminating the knowledge gained to a broader audience.
