The training courses of the European Project Growmat “Growing the Market in Accessible Tourism” (Erasmus + KA2), took place in 4 European countries. Greece was one of them, and the training was successfully completed yesterday, the 27th February 2019.
This seminar aimed to educate professionals and students in the tourism industry to acquire skills related to accessible tourism. It included an e-learning course but also workshops in the city of Patras.
The e-learning platform and the Workshops were focused on analyzing the concepts of accessible tourism, innovation and entrepreneurship in relation to the business aspect of these.
Presentation of the idea
After completing the training process, the participants presented the business idea they had developed during the Workshops. The main focus of the presented business plans was the implementation of disability-aided learning techniques and the use of classic business tools such as business model canvas. Also the digital presence of the business was thoroughly analyzed.
At the end of the presentations the trainees received their certificate of attendance, but mainly knowledge and skills that will improve their approach to the accessible tourism market!
