Meeting for the FOCUS Project in Lithuania

On June 27 and 28, we had the pleasure of traveling to Vilnius, Lithuania, for our second meeting with the partners of the FOCUS project. Sixteen dedicated project partners from the six countries comprising our partnership (Greece, Cyprus, Slovenia, Italy, Spain, Lithuania) were in attendance.

This meeting was particularly significant as it was the first where we could see the initial results of the important work we have done so far. It was proof that good collaboration between willing individuals always brings positive outcomes. Even before landing at Vilnius airport, we all knew that we were well ahead of our project’s scheduled program. This pleased us all and made us look forward to the rest of our collaboration.

Upon arriving at the meeting room of the Lithuanian Education and Science Trade Union (LESTU), we saw familiar faces who welcomed us warmly, and we then began detailed discussions about the project’s progress. We discussed thoroughly the implementation of our upcoming project deliverable, our online database, and how it will be presented to the interested public on our website in the best and most user-friendly way. We also had in-depth discussions about the process of completing our next deliverable, the six online games, and set the timeline for FOCUS’s upcoming actions and processes. Finally, we enjoyed two meals of traditional cuisine, relishing the company of our partners in moments of relaxation and relationship building.

As the company responsible for the digital actions of FOCUS, p-consulting presented to the partners how our database and online games might look, and after constructive discussions, we all happily agreed on the final outcome. Additionally, our company’s team presented the project’s dissemination activities and suggested further ways to make our project known to an even broader interested audience and stakeholders.

We left Vilnius confident in our project’s success, which gave us a new impetus to dive even deeper and work even harder for the continuation of FOCUS. Check out some snapshots of our meeting and stay tuned for more updates.
