We are pleased to present the 3rd e-Newsletter of the European project LOST2, which was released in December 2024. The LOST2 project aims to create a cohesive European system for searching for missing adults and minors, providing specialised training and tools to professionals in the field.
This third e-newsletter presents the major actions that took place during the year. Among these, the development of the professional profile of the “Expert in the research of missing people and minors” and the creation of a comprehensive training programme stand out. The programme includes 13 modules covering topics such as abduction prevention, family support, data collection and analysis and identification of anonymous bodies.
In addition, the newsletter includes information on the pilot implementations of the training modules that have been carried out with the participation of professionals from all over Europe. These trials have been a valuable source of feedback for improving the training material, which will soon be available in five languages via the LOST2 web platform.
The project is progressing steadily towards its completion in May 2025. The next actions include the updating of the material, its final translation, and the organisation of the final conference in Brussels. More details in the 3rd Newsletter here.
p-consulting.gr, as one of the project partners, actively contributes to all LOST2 activities and invites you to visit the project website, and its Facebook and LinkedIn account, for more information and updates.
