We are excited to share the release of the third Newsletter for the Erasmus+ project Sun in the Age, dedicated to improving the well-being and emotional resilience of older adults through innovative mindfulness-based practices.
The latest newsletter covers several important milestones. One key highlight is the third transnational project meeting held in Cori, Italy, on July 17-18, 2024, where project partners came together to evaluate progress and fine-tune upcoming activities. This collaborative effort focused on optimizing methodologies and ensuring the project stays on track as it approaches its final phase.
In addition, we are thrilled to announce that the Blended Training Course for Educators is now available online. Translated into the languages of all partner countries, this course equips adult educators with practical tools to promote mindfulness, yoga, and meditation among older adults, empowering them to improve emotional well-being and manage stress more effectively.
Looking forward, the next phase of the project will focus on piloting workshops in each partner country. These workshops, led by educators who have completed the training course, will offer hands-on experience with REMIND techniques, supporting older adults in enhancing their mental health and resilience. The upcoming multiplier events will further disseminate the project’s results, fostering dialogue on integrating mindfulness techniques into adult education.
