3rd Meeting of Jopapp Project

It was successfully completed the 3rd Meeting of the Jopapp Project. The meeting was held in the headquarters of p-consulting, in Patras, from Thursday, December 1, 2016 to Friday, December 2, 2016.

The meeting was attended by representatives from all project partners, namely:

    • From EFVET (Belgium) – Valentina Chanina ,
    • From ANESPO (Portugal) – Luis Costa and Susana Nogueira,
    • From Ensiprof Lda (Portugal) – Monica Cardoso,
    • From ZUBIRI MANTEO (Basque Country – Spain) – Jone Etxebeste and Susana Espilla,
    • From Marijampoles Kolegija (Lithuania) – Kristina Ceponiene,
    • From p-consulting –  Charitini-Maria Skoulidi, Panagiotis G. Anastassopoulos and Jiannis Mylonas.

On Thursday, December 1, 2016, members’ representatives having presented the hitherto progress of the project, focused on the analysis of the next steps. Then a working visit took place to the facilities of “VET College Vergis” and they exchange views on training matters with Mrs. Lilika Vergi-Kafetzi.

On Friday, December 2, 2016, the program included the second day of the meeting at the headquarters of p-consulting, for defining the modalities of creating the mobile application of the project.

Meanwhile, members of the mission and more particularly Mrs. Valentina Chanina, Mr. Luis Costa and Mr. Panagiotis G. Anastasopoulos, as representatives of the European Forum for Vocational Education & Training, visited the offices of the Federation of Industries of Peloponnese & Western Greece. There were greeted by the President of the Federation Mr Kleomenis Barlos and the Director of the Federation Mr. Nikolaos Kotsonis. In the meeting that followed, issues developed for the connectivity between vocational training and businesses, both locally and at European level. To be noticed that Mr. Barlos will visit Brussels next Thursday and Friday, in order to have some constructive meetings on those issues.

Finally, a visit took place at the facilities of the TEI of Western Greece, in Patras. There, the mission was welcomed by Mr. Spyros Sirmakessis, Head of the Research Committee of TEI of Western Greece. A detailed presentation of the activities of the TEI of Western Greece was followed, especially in student mobility issues abroad and implementing European projects-partnerships. The visit to the Foundation’s premises was completed with a tour to the Congress Centre of TEI of Western Greece and to the Department of Tourism.

 

The meeting of JopApp project ended with the return of the mission to the facilities of p-consulting, where the partners renewed their appointment for Lisbon.
