The year for the INTERACTION project kicked off dynamically, as on January 22nd and 23rd, 2025, partners from Greece, Cyprus, Lithuania, and North Macedonia gathered in Nicosia for their 3rd Transnational Meeting. The meeting was hosted by Almyras NGO at the Ktirion 53 venue, with a shared goal of highlighting Europe’s cultural heritage through sustainable practices.
The first day began with a warm welcome from our hosts, followed by a presentation of the project’s overall progress by the project managers from North Macedonia. Subsequently, Almyras NGO introduced the main framework for the project’s next deliverable, the Artistic Workshops, focusing on the initial steps for their organization. After the lunch break, the team continued with a Q&A session on the implementation of the workshops, providing opportunities for the exchange of ideas and experiences, while ensuring smooth execution in the coming months.
The day concluded with a social dinner aimed at strengthening the bonds between participants.
On the second day, attendees were briefed on the progress of the online platform and website by the team from p-consulting, as well as the project’s impact on the target groups so far. This was followed by presentations on the project’s dissemination activities before wrapping up with final remarks and a lunch break.
The program concluded with a cultural tour of Nicosia’s old town, giving partners the chance to gain deeper insight into the local cultural heritage.
The meeting emphasized sustainable creativity and the circular economy, fostering collaboration to promote cultural heritage. Adapting ideas to local needs and ensuring public engagement remain central priorities of the project.
At the close of the meeting, partners agreed to continue their efforts toward achieving their shared goals, leveraging the tools developed and further strengthening collaboration among participants.
A heartfelt thank you goes to our partners in Cyprus for their wonderful hospitality and the flawless organization of a truly successful meeting.
