Our second transnational meeting for the INTERACTION project had long been scheduled to take place in Patras on July 8th and 9th. Representatives from our partners in Cyprus, Lithuania, Poland, and North Macedonia arrived in our city to participate in the two-day meeting, which was organized with great success by the Patras-based company Liofyllo.
Day 1: Monday, July 8th We gathered at a seaside hotel in the city to discuss all that we have accomplished as a team over the past nine months since the INTERACTION project commenced, as well as the upcoming processes for the completion of our first deliverables. Specifically, our partners from North Macedonia and Patras presented the results of everyone’s efforts so far, while our company presented the format of the first deliverable on the INTERACTION website and opened a discussion on the format of the next deliverable, which will also be available on the project’s website. Finally, we outlined the tasks for the upcoming months and assigned each partner responsibility for their completion.
At noon, we all dined together and discussed the results of our meeting. In the evening, we gathered around the same table in a more relaxed atmosphere, getting to know each other better and forming new bonds by sampling traditional dishes at a well-known seaside tavern in the area. The first day concluded with a toast to the health of our hosts and with commemorative photos to remind everyone of the successful outcomes of our meeting.
Day 2: Tuesday, July 9th The second day was more relaxed, as the organizers believed that an outdoor activity in the nature (a central element of INTERACTION) would strengthen our relationships and give a new dimension to the concept of team building. Despite the particularly high temperature, our representatives headed to Strofilia Forest and Kalogria Beach for a day of rest and recreation, recharging our batteries and giving us the drive to continue our work even more enthusiastically.
We concluded the proceedings of the 2nd INTERACTION meeting with great success, as all representatives returned to their home countries happy and confident about the work done in Patras. As with any project, teamwork and collaboration can only bring positive results, and this meeting is yet another proof of that.
Stay tuned to be the first to hear the latest news about INTERACTION.
