p-consulting.gr, as a partner of the Erasmus+ KA2 GUIDE project, is pleased to announce the release of the 3rd project newsletter. The GUIDE project aims to upgrade the skills of professionals for gender-sensitive career guidance, focusing on addressing stereotypes that may affect career development.
Contents of the Newsletter
In the 3rd Newsletter, the project partners present important achievements, such as the launch of the Digital Tool for identifying stereotypes in career decisions. This tool is designed to help Career Guidance Professionals, career counsellors and educators to identify stereotypes that may influence individuals’ career choices, regardless of gender. The tool is available in eight languages. In addition, the creation of the Digital Tool for Career Decision-Making Styles.
Open Events
Following the launch of the tool, successful open events were organised in the partner countries. These events enabled participants to get to know the tool and understand how they can use it to enhance equality in professional decisions.
Next Steps
The project continues to move forward enthusiastically with the development of the Online Training Programme in Gender Sensitive Career Guidance, to assist professionals in mentoring gender-sensitive individuals. This programme is expected to enhance the skills of professionals, helping them to overcome barriers created by stereotypes.
