Advancing Digital Transformation in ECEC with AI
DIGITAL ECEC 2 is an Erasmus+ funded project with a duration of 26 months, implemented by eight organisations from Lithuania, Greece, Italy, and Serbia.
The project aims to support the digital transformation of Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) by strengthening knowledge and competences related to Artificial Intelligence (AI). Through targeted training programmes and innovative digital tools, DIGITAL ECEC 2 supports educators, parents, and school management staff in understanding how AI can enhance learning processes and improve the organisation and management of early childhood education settings.
The aim of the DIGITAL ECEC 2 project is to empower educators, school leaders, and parents with knowledge, skills, and practical tools related to Artificial Intelligence, contributing to the digital transformation and quality development of early childhood education.
The main objectives of the project are:
- Strengthening the digital and AI-related competences of ECEC educators and parents.
- Developing innovative digital tools that support personalised learning and children’s active participation.
- Supporting the management and organisation of ECEC institutions through AI-based solutions.
- Promoting the responsible and effective use of Artificial Intelligence in early childhood education.
