AWARE
Cybersecurity AWAREness in VET
AWARE is a 28-month Erasmus+ project implemented by nine partners from Portugal, Slovenia, Netherlands, Slovakia, Cyprus, Greece, Germany and Italy. The project is aiming to develop didactic approaches, methodologies, and curriculum content to develop cybersecurity awareness and competencies.
purpose
- respond to the digital transition through digital readiness, resilience and capacity,
- create training materials for VET institutions that can enhance digital and cyber security skills
- cybersecurity awareness and training for VET learners and VET teachers related to the digital transformation of industry and organisations
- cybersecurity awareness and education among VET learners and teachers at individual level,
- to demonstrate the need and potential of VET-business cooperation to enhance cyber security,
- encourage VET trainees to seek training and career opportunities in the field of cyber security
- reaching out to policy makers in order to enhance the positioning of cyber security in VET.
