“Learning Opportunities, Instruments and Investigation Techniques to Combat the Growing Phenomenon of MISSING PEOPLE in Europe”
LOST is a 2-year European Project, implemented by eight partners. The main goal of the project is to deal with the field of dealing with the disappearances of people.The project will benefit different types of professionals working in cases of missing children and adults, through the receipt of special training and support from technical bodies and VET trainers. These professionals may be members of law enforcement, police, secret services and civil protection, representatives of voluntary associations or NGOs. Also staff of public bodies such as social workers, psychologists who provide support to families, health professionals as well as doctors.
- Improve the skills of trainers and technicians in the critical first phase of research
- Define a new core professional profile that will support any law enforcement agency in research
- To increase and improve the social policies of local public institutions to support and protect families and local communities in general from this phenomenon
- Development of a new business model, which can be easily transferred to any EU country. using innovative and open ICT tools
- Raise awareness among social groups and communities in collaboration with Local Governments
- The innovation of “LOST – Learning Opportunities, Instruments and Investigation Techniques to Combat the Growing Phenomenon of MISSING PEOPLE in Europe” lies in the fact that all partners represent providers and VET sectors, which are affected by the phenomenon of missing persons
